About Us
The Pfenning’s have been growing organic vegetables in Ontario since 1981. In addition to all the vegetables from the Pfenning’s Farm, we partner with and distribute for a number of local, organic growers. You may recognize some of them, such as HFF (Huron Family Farms), HCF (Huron Community Farms), HOPE (from Aylmer) and others. Anything not grown regionally we get from outside organic sources, preferably Canadian. Especially in the winter, we will see produce coming from the U.S, Mexico, Central and South America. Supporting our import program supports our Ontario Organic family farm to operate sustainably and offer meaningful employment year round!

At Pfenning’s we recognize the importance of working with nature. Healthy soil is the foundation. When the soil is healthy plants are more resistant to pests and disease, and they are more nutrient dense. Our team is comprised of people with a wide diversity of backgrounds and experience. Everyone is considered part of the Pfamily and we work together with values of inclusion, equality and respect.
