About Us
Son of RA Sourdough is committed to making breads that have a deep connection to history. From how they’re made, to what goes in them, each loaf is tied to socio-agricultural trends right from the birth of bread in ancient Egypt, to settled America and the enlightened European renaissance. All whole grains used are organic, and all grains used are locally sourced within 100km of Mount Forest. Son of RA operates in the off hours of Magpie Bakery, a local gourmet donut shop, and can be found seasonally at Keady Market, and St. Jacob’s Market Tuesdays, Thurdays, and Saturdays.
