Learn how to can peaches and pickles and a little about dehydrating your food too!
Oct. 13th: 1:00 - 4:00pm- Fermenting
Learn how to make sauerkraut and about effective ways to overwinter your food in a cellar.
Materials such as produce and containers will be provided, and come from Eat local producers, whenever possible. These will be hands on workshops so be prepared to do the work under direction and have something to take home with you. Food safety and shelf life will be covered.
